Everything the driver does like the stops they make, acceleration, de-acceleration, going off route, idling too long, etc will all be monitored by the vehicle tracking system and recorded on the driver’s identification.  With Driver ID you are able to identify and reward efficient and safe drivers.  You are also able to find the drivers who are wasting company time or money.

Another great thing about Driver ID is linking records on driver licenses.  You will know right away what the driver is qualified to drive and whether the vehicle they just accessed is one of those vehicles.  Alerts will be sent to you when an unidentified driver or unqualified driver is moving your vehicles.  These alerts offer you peace of mind that only the vehicle tracking system has.

Luckily there is not a lot of hardware to install, so the downtime for your fleet is minimal.  You will have a driver ID key reader on the vehicles dash with most ID features.  The key and other vehicle information will be transmitted in case you need a tracking solution like a different route, stopping an unqualified driver and other options.  There is also a secure web portal for you to log into to track the drivers.

There are different track modes such as the work or private mode which tells you when the driver is on the clock.  This helps you reduce time and mileage costs because you have better tracking.  Driver ID requires a minimal administration to manage the interfaces and monitor your drivers, which reduces the burden your staff already has.
